Agawam Special Event Days
In addition to our daily schedule of fun filled activities each session will have special event days throughout the week.
Session 1:
PJ Day - Get ready to cozy up in your favorite pajamas for a day of ultimate relaxation! Whether you're rocking fuzzy onesies, silky pajama sets, or classic flannel jammies, come to camp dressed in your sleepwear best. From cartoon characters to funky patterns, let your PJs reflect your unique style and personality. So kick back, unwind, and enjoy the comfort!
Wild West Gold Rush Day - Saddle up Partner and come dressed in your best Wild West outfit. Throughout the day you will hear stories, participate in activities as you learn about what it was like in the Wild West. You will even get a chance to head out to the fields and hunt for "Gold Nuggets" Which group will find the most gold and Strike it Rich?!
Session 2:
4th of July Day - Let's get together to celebrate our country's independence! We will be playing flag tag, dress the patriot, and other patriotic activities including signing The InspireWorks Declaration of Independence! Be sure to stop by the 4th of July photo booth and pose like Uncle Sam!
Session 3:
Music Mania Day - Rock out in style by dressing up as rockstars, pop icons, or musical legends for a day filled with rhythm and melody. Channel your inner Taylor Swift with glittery dresses and a signature microphone, or transform into Elvis Presley with slicked-back hair and a rhinestone-studded jumpsuit. Get creative and accessorize with sunglasses, bandanas, and funky jewelry to complete your look. Grab your air guitar and strike a pose!
Hawaiian Day - ALOHA! Get your grass skirts and Hawaiian shirts ready for a day of fun. Campers will all receive a Hawaiian lei, learn Hawaiian dances, and get a delicious Hawaiian ice treat!
Session 4:
Camouflage Day - Will you blend in with traditional green and black, or dare to stand out with something else? Mix and match your style as you blend in with the scenery! Whether you opt for classic camouflage patterns or go bold with unexpected colors and prints, let your creativity shine as you master the art of disguise and stealth!
Let it Snow Day - Stay cool this summer as we celebrate a snow day in the summer! Campers will enjoy some Disney's Frozen karaoke, build a gingerbread house, play snowball toss and even figure out how to make a summer snow man!
Session 5:
Superhero Day - It’s time to save the day! Come dressed as your favorite superhero or create one of your own as you find yourself the star of your very own comic book. Will you be able to leap tall buildings, make yourself invisible, or be faster than a speeding bullet? What will your superpower be?
Big Blue World Day - Today we find out what really goes on under the sea by exploring aquatic life. Learn to snorkel in the “Agawam Barrier Reef” where you may see fish, sharks and even a mermaid or two!
Session 6:
Decades Day - Get ready to step back in time and journey through the decades with "Throwback Tuesday!” Come dressed as iconic figures or in fashion styles from past decades, from the roaring '20s to the groovy '70s and beyond. Whether you're channeling the glamour of Hollywood starlets, the rebellious spirit of rock 'n' roll, or the neon vibes of the '80s, let your imagination run wild as we celebrate the best of yesteryear. So dust off your bell-bottoms, tease up your hair, and get ready for a blast from the past!
Color Day - It’s an all out competition as the camp splits into Red vs. Blue! Campers will compete in obstacle courses, water races, team cheer competitions and much more to try and earn points for their team. Who will be the 2024 Color Day Champion?
Session 7:
Candyland Day - Indulge your sweet tooth by dressing up as your favorite candies, chocolates, or even the characters from the classic board game. Immerse yourself in a colorful world of confectionery delights, where you can let your imagination run wild enjoying the sugary spectacle!
Astronaut Day - Three, two, one, blast off! Travel with us to outer space and learn what it is like to be a real astronaut! Campers will build and race their own space ships, dodge meteors, and participate in many other intergalactic activities that are out of this world!
Session 8:
Wilderness Explorer Day - An explorer is a friend to all, be it plants or fish or tiny mole." Today, we immerse ourselves in the heart of the wilderness. Will you join us as a brave wilderness explorer, equipped to conquer the great outdoors? Or perhaps you'll become a part of nature itself, transforming into a majestic tree, a playful animal, or a graceful butterfly. Whichever path you choose, camp is sure to look WILD!
BBQ Day - Nothing says summer like the sizzle of a grill! Get ready to end the summer with a camp wide barbeque. No need to bring a lunch today because the InspireWorks staff will be grilling for you! Enjoy a delicious lunch filled with hot dogs, chips, juice and desserts! Thank you for a great 2024 season!
